This is a 1970 Ferrari 512s Coda Lunga from Fisher Model & Pattern. Plans are to build it pretty much as-is, except for replacing a couple missing parts. This car will be the red #5 factory entry from the '70 24 hours of LeMans. So far, I've repalced the missing axle blocks, and set the ride and wheel track. I've also added a series of mounting tabs inside the body shell to make final assembly much easier. By far the biggest modification is the vents on the backside of the fenders. I have also remade the front winglets and rear spoiler from .010" and .020" sheet plastic. The latest bit of work on this project is the new dummy intake insert made from .040" sheet styrene, and .093" aluminum tube that I polished and flared.
