This a 1965 Ferrari 250 LM, chassis #5895, as run in the '65 LeMans 24 hour race by the British team Maranello Concessionaires Ltd. Driven by Mike Salmon and Lucien Bianchi, the car was retired after 99 laps due to gearbox failure. Built from the Academy kit with wheels from the Monogram 427 Cobra street kit, tires from the Revell '66 Penske Corvette kit, and new exhaust pipes made from Evergreen plastic tube. The body is painted Tamiya TS-08 Italian Red and TS-10 French Blue, with kit decals and Tamiya TS-13 clear. The interior is a mix of Tamiya X-18 Semi Gloss Black, XF-16 Flat Aluminum, and TS-44 Brilliant Blue. The wheels are painted Tamiya XF-16 Flat Aluminum.
