This is a Shelby 427 Cobra, CSX3008, built from the Revell limited edition kit. This car replicates the first 427 Cobra to win an SCCA A Production Championship, while campaigned by Hal Keck in 1965. It is also one of the few cars that left the Shelby American facilities as a full competition roadster, not an S/C converted into a racecar. This kit is pretty much out of the box with the addition of ignition wiring, and a slight lowering of the front suspension. Decals are a combination of Three Amigos and Revell kit decals. Color is Tamiya TS-19 Metallic Blue, and the interior is Tamiya TS-6 Matte Black. Thanks to Les Smirle of Three Amigos for the custom decals.
