This is a 1940 Ford Coupe, built from the Revell Standard Coupe kit. Modifications included lowered front axle, custom dual exhaust, hotroded flathead, and Revell Rat Rod wheels and tires. I deleted the bumpers, filled the slots in the body and smoothed the windshield wiper bosses from the cowl. I also added an aluminum tube fuel filler neck and '32 Ford fuel cap. Since the kit had two tail lights on the tree, I used them, along with a parts box trunk latch and mirror, and relocated license plate frame. The interior sports a new smooth steering column, and a floor shifter. Color is Duplicolor Lt Driftwood Metallic, with Tamiya TS-46 Lt Sand and Model Master 1701 Military Brown for the interior.
